The short version

  • AI itineraries and concierge answers can be wrong or out of date — always verify hours, prices, availability, visas, and health and safety requirements yourself.
  • Bookings happen with third-party travel providers and booking partners. Jaunt is not the merchant for your travel.
  • Jaunt Pro is $7/month or $49/year through Stripe, with a 7-day free trial. It renews automatically until you cancel; cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period.
  • No refunds for partial billing periods, except where the law requires them.
  • Your trips, notes, and photos stay yours — you give us only the permission we need to host them and run the service.
  • Delaware law governs these terms, and our liability is capped at what you've paid us in the past 12 months.

Agreement to these terms

These terms are a contract between you and Jaunt ("Jaunt", "we", "us") that governs your use of the Jaunt app and website. By creating an account or using Jaunt, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Jaunt.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and in any case at least 16, to use Jaunt.

Your account

You're responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Keep your sign-in credentials secure, and tell us right away at hello@getjaunt.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

AI-generated content

Jaunt's itineraries, recommendations, concierge answers, and trip recaps are generated by AI. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date — places close, schedules change, prices move, and entry rules vary by nationality and over time.

Always independently verify anything that matters before you rely on it, including opening hours, prices, availability, visa and entry requirements, health requirements (such as vaccinations), and local safety conditions. AI suggestions in Jaunt are provided for general informational purposes only and are not professional, legal, medical, financial, or travel advice.

Bookings and third-party services

Jaunt helps you find flights, stays, activities, and restaurants, and links you to providers and booking platforms to complete the booking. Every booking is made directly with that third party — the airline, hotel, activity operator, or booking site — and their terms, prices, and cancellation policies apply. Jaunt is not the merchant of record for travel, is not a party to those transactions, and is not responsible for the services travel providers deliver.

Some booking links are affiliate links (for example through Travelpayouts or Viator). We may earn a commission on bookings made through them at no extra cost to you, and partner sites may set their own cookies.

Email forwarding and connected inboxes

If you forward booking emails to your trip's import address or connect your Gmail or Outlook account, you confirm that you have the right to share the contents of those emails, including any information about other people in them. We process these emails as described in our Privacy Policy and purge raw email content within 90 days. You can disconnect a mailbox integration at any time from within the app.

Plans, subscriptions, and billing

Jaunt's free plan includes unlimited trips with monthly limits on AI features — currently 5 AI itinerary generations and 10 AI tweaks per month. We may adjust free-plan limits over time.

Jaunt Pro is a paid subscription billed through Stripe at $7 per month or $49 per year. New Pro subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial: you won't be charged until the trial ends, and if you cancel before it ends you won't be charged at all.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the billing portal in the app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then.

If we change prices, we'll notify you in advance, and the new price will apply from your next renewal.

Refunds

Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable, and we don't provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or unused AI allowances. The free trial exists so you can try Pro before paying anything. If you believe you've been charged in error, contact hello@getjaunt.com and we'll sort it out.

Your content

You own the trips, itineraries, notes, photos, and other content you add to Jaunt. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display that content solely to operate, provide, and improve the service — for example to store your photos, sync your trips across devices, show your trip to the group members you invite, and generate AI itineraries and recaps from your trip details. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for residual copies in backups for a limited period.

You're responsible for your content. Only upload content you have the right to use, and nothing unlawful or harmful.

Jaunt's intellectual property

Jaunt's software, design, and branding belong to us and our licensors. These terms don't grant you any rights in them beyond what you need to use the service. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.

Acceptable use

When using Jaunt, you agree not to:

  • Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful, or that includes other people's personal information without their permission.
  • Probe, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts, or our infrastructure.
  • Scrape the service or access it by automated means other than interfaces we provide.
  • Circumvent usage limits, free-plan AI allowances, or billing.
  • Harass or abuse other users, including members of trips you're part of.
  • Resell or sublicense the service.

Termination

You can stop using Jaunt at any time, and you can delete your account from Settings in the app (at /app/settings) — this deletes your account, trips, photos, and mailbox integrations, and cancels any subscription.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, create risk for other users or for us, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice first. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law — survive.

Disclaimer of warranties

Jaunt is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content — including AI-generated content — will be accurate or reliable.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jaunt will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is capped at the amount you paid Jaunt in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain of these limitations, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws where you live.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Jaunt harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the service in violation of these terms, or your violation of law or of someone else's rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware — except that nothing in this section deprives you of protections or venue rights granted by the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Jaunt evolves. When we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect, and we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Jaunt after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
